Valley Center Recreation Center

As the design developed, Valley Center Recreation received design input from a community wide survey. Nearly 1000 survey responses were received, which was used to assist in designing a space that could be best used by all members of the community. Schaefer Architecture used the results to develop an updated program of spaces, established the square footage needed, created a masterplan vision and design a facility that is accessible for the whole community. The new Recreation & Aquatic Center is located north of the middle school, allowing some shared use of the facility and parking by the school district.
