Sedgwick Co Public Safety Building

The new 2-story, 30,000 square foot building for Sedgwick County houses the 911 call center and offices for other emergency management services. The core of the building houses the call center and is designed to resist the impact of a tornado and protect it from other potential disasters.

Integral to the function of the building, Schaefer coordinated many special systems including phone, emergency communication, and back-up power supply.
